COMPANY PROFILE
Human Biosystems
(OTC-BB:HBSC)
was founded in February 1998 after more than ten years of research.
We believe that our proposed technology represents a breakthrough in the
storage and preservation of living biological materials that promises
to reduce the waste and added cost factors of current technologies,
while simultaneously increasing the worldwide availability of precious
living biological materials needed to save human lives.
The PlexLifeTM System, a proprietary technology
for preserving platelets (a blood component used by chemotherapy,
trauma, and other patients to stop bleeding) and organs such as the
kidney, hearts, livers, and lungs is under development.
We believe that our technology will be recognized as unique and revolutionary in its
ability to extend and maintain functionality and quality of these
materials for much longer periods of time than is currently possible,
without the use of toxic solutions.

SAVING LIVES
Our goal is to lead the development of preservation technologies
that provide safe, high quality, and longer shelf life of biological
materials that are used in saving lives.
Today, there are no effective products or methods to preserve and
extend the shelf life of platelets that are commercially available.
We intend to become the first company to market a platelet preservation
system that is safe, practical and cost effective, that will allow blood
centers and hospitals to recover up to $500
million in lost revenue annually, in North America, Western Europe and Japan
alone.
